Attacked by Rebel Scum
Sorry it took so long to make a new comic. I started this one over a month ago, and it just sat on my desktop until I figured out how to finish it last week. Basically all I had was the final panel and a line that went something like “It’s bad enough a fly got in my room, but keeps targeting my nostrils like it’s a thermal exhaust port on the death star!” But that sounded a bit forced.
I don’t know why it took me so long to come up with the idea of drawing anthropomorphic flies, but once it hit me, I was all over it like… um… well I was all over it. Creating the flies was actually pretty fun, and I’m really happy with how this one turned out.
And yeah, it’s that time of the year. Although I’ve lived in this house for over two decades, I’ve been getting seasonal drain flies for about a decade. Honestly I’m not sure what changed that gave me this problem, but it usually lasts from the last half of summer through the first half of fall. After that, they disappear for 9 months. I’ve tried drain cleaners, Green Gobbler, bleach, and fly paper. Let me know in the comments if you’ve ever had this problem, and what did you do to get rid of them?
Other than that, I hope you liked today’s comic. No idea when the next one will land, but be sure to stay tuned! I’ve got a lot of really neat daily websites lined up for the main blog roll that ought to be pretty fun. Let me know if you have any suggestions you’d like to see.
